Job Overview

As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for; TEGTA19

* Plant Quality Management for 2 Aerospace, Defense and Marine Connectors sites
* Support and enhance the quality management system requirements of AS9100.
* Use lean management and process management to build on the quality system at the two sites
* Drive a culture of learning, continuous improvement and best practices to improve the effectiveness of the organization
* Ensure the appropriate quality processes are in place and are effective to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
* Drive improvements in quality performance to enhance the customer experience and to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality.
* Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the site quality system and product quality while ensuring compliance to governing regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
* Define quality procedures in conjunction with R&D; setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures; monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
* Ensure appropriate leading KPIs are in place and are reacted to in a timely manner
* Own leadership and guidance of site Quality teams on matters such as compliance and industry best practices
* Lead the development of a strong customer-focused culture throughout the organization
* Improve the decision-making model and problem-solving capabilities within high performance teams to increase autonomy and the pace of change

What your background should look like:

* BS/BA Degree in Quality, Engineering or similar field required, MBA preferred.
* 5+ years' work experience in continuous improvement or quality fields, ideally with leadership experience
* Demonstrated experience driving change using LEAN concepts Ensure there is a strong quality organization in place to support the business and deliver global and local objectives.
* Working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma experience required, SSGB or SSBB preferred
