Liverpool Clinical Laboratories is a Joint Venture between Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Teaching Hospital and Aintree University NHS Foundation Trust). We are the largest provider of pathology services in the Northwest employing over 550 staff across four locations, providing a 24 hour / 365 day service ensuring accessibility to clinical diagnostic and treatment services.

Our staff, who are passionate about what they do, are well trained and empowered to deliver locally. The work we do is clinically led and cutting edge, making us a regional reference centre for many specialist investigations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Liverpool Clinical Laboratories Senior Management Team, for a motivated individual to fill the role of Quality Manager.

As Quality Manager, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team providing leadership to all areas and having overall responsibility for the Quality Management System and the Quality Management Team

The successful candidate will have a positive approach to the role. They will be able to demonstrate resilience and have proven leadership skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to seek opportunities for continuous improvement whilst ensuring compliance in a highly regulated service.

The successful candidate will demonstrate key strengths in individual and team communication, problem solving and be confident and competent influencing at Senior Management level within LCL.

The successful applicant will have key relationships with clinical and technical teams. As part of LCL you’ll be encouraged to share your skills to help drive the organisation to success.
