Primary Responsibilities:

* Inspect manufactured products, purchased samples, materials and parts, control samples, processes, and/or test data for conformity to blueprints, specifications and standards.
* Report inspection results and substandard conditions on appropriate forms or computer.
* Identify product items as "accept" or "reject."
* Inform appropriate parties of abnormal situations.
* When applicable, validate production machines and process setups using first production pieces, setup pieces, shift samples, etc. according to checklists, blueprints, routings and standards.
* Perform above on an experienced level basis with minimal supervision.

Qualification:

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a manufacturing/inspection environment
* Work independently with minimal supervisor
* Deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals and support groups, in person, via telephone, and in writing
* Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under stress
* Show a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Possess basic computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
* Aerospace background a plus

Education: Education & Basic Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of manufacturing or quality experience

OR

* Associate's degree/technical degree (Quality inspection technology or equivalent) and 1+ years of manufacturing or quality experience

This position falls under the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program. FAA regulations require that the candidate identified for this position will be subjected to random drug and alcohol testing while in this role.
