• Do you have experience in Quality Assurance?
• Are looking for a challenging but rewarding role?
• Do you have strong coaching skills and a strong level of resilience?

If so, then working as Quality Assurance Officer with The Pensions Ombudsman may be just right for you!

The Pensions Ombudsman is a free, independent organisation set up to help people that have any complaints/issues about workplace pensions. We look at the facts without taking sides. We aim to constantly support one another to provide the best service we can for the people who need us most.

As Quality Assurance Officer, you will assist the Quality Assurance Manager in creating and implementing a quality assurance framework for the business. You will oversee the production process, observe and provide feedback when necessary. Once the framework is in place, you will contribute to the maintenance.

You will be required to work with colleagues to help create and refine team quality metrics, build appropriate systems and processes, and use innovative ways to roll out and embed the framework across the business. You will be assisting with the running of projects and training and implement a peer to peer review framework.

In addition to your quality assurance experience you will need first-class interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, both in writing and on the telephone. You must be able to show empathy when dealing with sensitive matters and have a high level of attention to detail. You must have excellent organisation skills and be competent with Microsoft (Excel) and have excellent all-round IT skills.

For the right person the rewards include a competitive salary plus a range of worthwhile benefits including:
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and 2½ privilege days
• Flexi time – we offer flexible working hours between 7am and 7pm
• The opportunity to work from home for a part of each week
• Opportunities to develop your skills and career
• An excellent working environment – great office and great facilities.
