Job Description

• Take responsibility: You work as an Engineering Product Quality Manager (EPQ) for the Business Unit Communication Systems and are responsible for high quality product development according to our Product Engineering Process.

• Use creativity and freedom: You ensure the maturity of the products during the complete product lifetime through expert guidance and coordination of all related Q-aspects.

• Living cooperation: You are a review partner for the project team in the field of development and product quality and check compliance with requirements.

• Implement it holistically: You are responsible for adhering to quality assurance measures in the PEP. In the project teams, you are authorized to give instructions regarding Q topics and evaluate the product maturity in terms of content and processes. You give valuable feedback regarding usage of quality and engineering methods and help to improve application.

• Create something new: You derive measures to improve preventive quality and contribute to their implementation in the development process. You work closely with partners from other product areas and departments.

• Help to shape the future: You release the development activities of the projects during the respective development phases from quality point of view.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a comparable degree program. Master's degree is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with product or quality engineering for a larger manufacturing organization

• Team player, ability to work in a matrix environment and across all levels within the organization

• Very good communication skills.

• Working method: goal-oriented, independent, structured and methodical as well as experience working in changing national and international teams.

• Experience and know-how: profound knowledge in the design and industrialization of products (based on e.g. BES-PE, BPS, Quality methods, Engineering methods, DFFS) as well as experience in the implementation of compliance topics in project development and release are advantageous.

• Languages: English spoken and written, German a plus.
