The Role:

You will evaluate and report product conformance of vendor and finished product relative to established quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Knowledge of ISO Quality system and all procedures, work instruction directly related to the quality function.
* Reads and interprets blueprints for specification conformity.
* Must have the ability to do receiving, in-process, final and out-going inspections.
* Must be able to do basic gage set-ups.
* Inspects in-process products for conformance to specifications, performing inspections in all manufacturing departments.
* May stop production process as required upon encountering in-process quality defects.
* Inspects Supplier (incoming) material to ensure conformance to EMC specifications.
* Ensures inspection equipment being used by inspectors and production line has current calibration information or is removed and repaired as necessary.
* Maintains computerized records of data pertaining to quality defects and solutions.
* Notifies Lead person or Manager of any problems with procedures or equipment in order to maintain the highest degree of safety, inventory accuracy, and productivity.
* Maintains effective working relationships with fellow employees.
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:
* Minimum 1 year daily inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (3-5 years preferred).
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Basic electrical (function) testing knowledge.
* Must be able to demonstrate the use of various inspection tools and machinery.
* Basic computer skills and general familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Ability to follow written instructions and techniques.
* Attention to detail.
