The Company: Our client is a customer driven precision engineering business providing solutions to a wide range of complex engineering challenges in safety critical market sectors. They are recognised as being a customer focused leader in the provision of complex, high precision machining in difficult materials for highly demanding markets.
They currently have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a full time basis.

The Role: As a Quality Inspector, you are responsible for visually and dimensionally inspecting aerospace/engine products, generating non-conformance reports and returning notes to suppliers. You are also responsible for generating and compiling First Article Inspection Reports, identifying problem areas and liaising with operators or relevant personnel to resolve them.

Visually and dimensionally inspecting aerospace/engine products
Generate Non-Conformance reports
Return notes to suppliers
Generation and compilation of First Article Inspection Reports
Identify problem areas and liaise with operators or relevant personnel to resolve them
Raising Non-Conformance Reports, elevating any issues to management when required
Make appropriate decisions when concerns over quality and safety become apparent

The Candidate: The ideal candidate for the Quality Inspector role will have the ability to interpret technical data, including blue prints, drawings and specifications and will have experience of Co-ordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Prior experience of using measuring equipment and strong Microsoft Office skills are also essential.

NDT MPI bench unit & penetrant fluorescent water wash
Prior experience of using measuring equipment
Strong Microsoft Office skills

Desirable Candidate Criteria:

Setting and programming experience
Magnetic particle level 2 to SNT-TC-1A/NAS410/EN4179
Penetrant level 2 to EN4179/NAS410
