About the role
Balfour Beatty currently has opportunities for a Quality Manager on exciting new projects based in Folkstone.

What you'll be doing

This is a varied and interesting role, with involvement in key areas of the Balfour Beatty business.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

* Working closely with the customers' quality representatives providing confident delivery and control of the projects' quality
* Ensuring that the project Quality Management Plan is in place and approved
* Ensuring that a Project Requirements schedule is developed maintained and managed
* Ensuring that the project Technical assurance plan is in place and approved to include design validation and verification, installation Inspection and Test Plans correlated to the delivery programme, Entry into service and commissioning plans are in place with quality requirements clearly defined
* Working with the Head of Engineering (project) to support development of Quality strategy and plans and implementation of measurement framework throughout design, construction, commission & handover to performance in use

Who we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you will:

* Have the ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and convey them clearly through information technology such as MS Word, Excel, Dash Board presentation etc.
* Pay attention to detail and sees things through to completion
* Deliver reports orally and written in an objective and persuasive manner
* Have good interpersonal and communication skills and acts in an independent and professional manner with the ability to influence others including senior management
* Have an enquiring and questioning approach to audit work
