Senior Quality Manager

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Quality Manager at our site in Barrow in Furness.

As a Senior Quality Manager, you will be responsible for a multi-disciplined team covering all aspects of Supplier Assurance activities, from supporting Engineering in the design stages to receipt inspection of equipment on site.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within a varied role and an exciting opportunity to develop and grow a newly formed organisation.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Quality Manager will involve:

Managing the Supplier Assurance teams, including performance management

Being accountable for the Quality Inspection as defined by contractual requirements

Taking responsible for the delivery of completed and accurate Quality Records associated to all relevant inspection activities and hold points/key milestones

Providing guidance to Supply Chain, Engineering and supporting functions on improvements on quality performance and culture

Supporting Quality activities including investigations and audits as required


Your skills and qualifications as a Senior Quality Manager:

Previous leadership experience of a multi-functional team

Manufacturing or heavy engineering background is essential

Stakeholder management experience

Quality tools & techniques

Experience of supply chain

Budgetary control experience

Resource planning

Degree or relevant experience

Chartered member or working towards membership
