Data Quality Engineer/Analyst/Consultant, remote working

Skills:

Proven experience in data quality management

A natural passion for delivering high quality work, where your eye for the small details helps you to go for the extra mile

Good knowledge of data manipulation tools (SQL, Excel, etc.)

Programming/Scripting experience (Java or Python preferred - ONE OF THESE NOT BOTH)

Forward-thinking and proactive

Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

The technology team works directly and closely with the Business. The client run a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, code with modern languages, leverage state-of-the-art tools from leading financial software providers as well as open-source solutions, and have deployed agile development and DevOps techniques. To strengthen the data management team, the client is looking for a Data Quality Engineer.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that high quality data is delivered to the business by designing, developing, and performing data quality checks (with a focus on ESG/Sustainability data assets)

Responsibilities:

Working with business owners to design and document data quality testing strategies

Understanding the economic meaning of the data to develop state-of-the-art algorithms to detect outliers and clean historical as well as new incoming data

Implementing and automating data quality checks and reports

Day to day monitoring of data quality and issue resolution with both external and internal stakeholders

Producing data quality trends and KPIs

Helping business owners understanding and using relevant datasets in the most optimal way

Working Conditions per week: 3 days on site, 2 days remotely.

Working for a well established organization. CHANCE TO WORK IN THE BANKING ENVIRONMENT (ie no previous banking experience is required).

Flexible start date (ie immediate to 3 months notice)
